I am Deborah and this is my menstrual health blog RedBee. Little fun fact my name actually means bee and red, well you guessed it, stands for menstruation.
I think menstrual health, wellness, and body positivity are incredibly important and too often forgotten. This blog is a space dedicated to breaking down the stigma around menstruation, celebrating our cycles, and empowering everyone to understand the incredible processes happening within their bodies.
In the past few years I realised how empowering it is to fully understand and embrace my cycle and also how empowering it is to ignore the stigma it surrounds and talk about it. When I was writing my undergrad dissertation on Menstrual Leave, this idea of learning about menstrual health became even more important.
That’s why I created this blog: to share insights, tips, and science-backed information that can help anyone better understand their body. Whether you’re here to learn the basics of the menstrual cycle, find tips for managing PMS, explore holistic wellness practices or are searching for kinship in your struggles with your cycle. I’m here to support you on your journey.
